Here are the winners of the Asian Film Awards 2017

'The Handmaiden'

China's "I Am Not Madame Bovary" won the award for best film at the Asian Film Awards held in Hong Kong Tuesday.

At the 11th edition of the awards, director Feng Xiaogang took to the stage to accept the award for best film, as did the movie's leading lady Fan Bingbing for best actress.

Another big winner was the erotic thriller from South Korea "The Handmaiden," which took home four awards including best supporting actress for Moon So-ri and best newcomer for Kim Tae-ri.

The AFA moved to Hong Kong this year after a three-year run in Macau, to mark the 20th anniversary of the handover of the territory from Britain to China.

Best Newcomer : Kim Tae-ri, The Handmaiden

Best Editing:Apprentice

Best Production Design: The Handmaiden

Best Costume Design: The Handmaiden

Best Sound: Crosscurrent

Best Original Music: The Age of Shadows

Best Cinematography: I Am Not Madame Bovary

Best Visual Effects: Shin Godzilla
