Woman, 41, and child, 5, found dead at restricted area near Bukit Batok Nature Park

SINGAPORE — A 41-year-old woman and a five-year-old boy were found dead at a restricted area close to Bukit Batok Nature Park on Thursday (14 November) morning.

Police said they were alerted to the incident at Lorong Sesuai at 6.42am. The child was found lying motionless inside a car while the woman’s body was found nearby.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. According to a Shin Min Daily News report, the deceased are Japanese nationals and the woman is the child’s mother.

Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
