Woman Allegedly Shot Baby in Leg, Then Told Panicked Mom, 'F--- Your Baby!’

A video released by the Philadelphia Police Department appears to show a woman walk up to two people pushing a stroller and begin firing several gunshots. A 7-month-old baby was shot in the leg, say police.

The incident occurred on July 18 on Meridian Street, the department said. Police added that the suspect fled the scene.

“F--- your baby,” the woman can be heard yelling in the surveillance video, at a woman standing behind the stroller.

Two days after the shooting, a woman, Dominique Billips, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and other offenses in connection with the incident, according to reports from ABC 6, NBC 10 and Fox 29, citing police.

It is not immediately clear if Billips has entered a plea or retained an attorney.

ABC 6 reported that police identified Billips as a suspect after receiving a tip.

According to NBC 6, the baby is in stable condition after being taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
