A 64-year-old woman died of her injuries in hospital after her husband allegedly drove into her by accident in a car park at Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 on Tuesday (25 April).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted at about 7.51pm to a road traffic accident in the car park of Block 332 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 where one pedestrian was knocked down by a car.
The Singapore Police Force said they were alerted to an accident involving a car, a pedestrian and two motorcycles at the location.
One ambulance was sent to the location and a 64-year-old Chinese woman was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital while the hospital was alerted to be on standby to receive the patient, said SCDF.
The woman succumbed to her injuries, said the police.
According to media reports, the man panicked when he hit his wife and he swerved and hit two parked motorcycles and pillars at a nearby block.
Police investigations are ongoing.
