Woman, Dog Rescued From Sioux Falls Building Collapse

The search and cleanup after a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, building collapse resulted in two rescues on Friday, December 2.

In dramatic video captured by a local reporter, a woman and a dog are pulled from the rubble of the building while people cheer in the background. Local media reported the woman is 22 years old and her injuries are not life-threatening. However, it has also been reported since the accident that one man, a construction worker, has died in the collapse.

The building housed Stogeez Copper Lounge, which closed in September. The building has either been vacant or under construction since that time, according to the report. Credit: Twitter/DaniFergs + Argus Leader Media via Storyful
