On a flight from Singapore to Myanmar, a woman unexpectedly went into labor and delivered a baby boy on a Jetstar plane.

In a tribute to the crew and the airline, the mother, who's family name is Star, aptly named her baby boy, Saw Jet Star.

The mother wanted the name to salute Saw Ler Htu, a member of the cabin crew who "exercised utmost care and concern for the passenger, calling for medical assistance on board the aircraft when required," Jetstar Asia wrote in a Facebook post.

There were three doctors onboard the three-hour journey who were able to help deliver the six pound, seven ounce infant.

The mother and newborn went to a Yangon hospital after getting off the plane.
