Woman shares easy hack for getting plastic containers spotless
If you've become frustrated with that stubborn orange stain on your trusty plastic Tupperware, despite rigorous cleaning, then the following hack might make your day.
Tupperware is a staple of our everyday lives – we use it for packed lunches, picnics and refrigerating or freezing leftovers – but it can prove tricky to get spotless after use.
A woman named Adi Kempler has shared her top tips for getting rid of stains on plastic containers in a short video on TikTok – and it only requires washing-up liquid, warm water and a sheet of paper towel.
"I never post on here but I really wanted to share this trick on how to get rid of greasy stains on tupperware," Adi explains, before instructing viewers to add washing up liquid to the dirty container, followed by some warm water.
Next, Adi instructs followers to add some ripped up paper towel to the container, before closing the lid firmly.
Then, over the sink, shake the container vigorously from side to side for around 45 seconds to a minute. Take off the lid and remove the bits of paper towel, so as not to block the sink and, voila! The container should be grease free and sparkling clean.
Along with the video, Adi added the caption: "This hack has saved so many of my Tupperware friends. Try it!!!!"
The video clip has already acquired over 500,000 views.
