Woman charged with 1st-degree murder in man's death

Windsor police say they have arrested a seventh person in relation to the death of a man who went missing in March.

After announcing an arrest warrant for Samantha Lynn Sweetman, 30, on Tuesday, police said Wednesday Sweetman had turned herself into police.

Police say she has been charged with first-degree murder related to the death of Dalton Robert Bartnik.

They allege new evidence shows she was a "co-conspirator" in the death of Bartnik.

Bartnik was last seen on the night of March 31. Investigators believe he was killed around April 1, but his remains haven't been recovered.

Six others were charged in July.
