In the 4.46am incident, the victims' car was swept into the river at Jalan Seremban-Kuala Pilah near the village, as fast flowing water rushed around the vehicle.

State Fire and Rescue Department director, Norazam Khamis said the department received an emergency call at 4.36am before a team from the department was dispatched at the location.

"We managed to rescue the victims on time, and they were sent to the Kuala Pilah Hospital for treatment," he said.
