Crowned by many as the world’s best road trip, the Atlantic Ocean Road is a magnificent structure joining various islands in Møre og Romsdal, Norway.

From some angles, the road appears to lead nowhere but this is just an optical illusion. The road weaves up and down with dips, curves and turns, offering an awe-inspiring view of Norway’s western coast.

To get to the Atlantic Ocean Road, drive from Kristiansund north on Lanveien toward Kaibakken, take the third exit onto Rv64 and turn right onto Atlanterhavsveien. You’ll find the Atlantic Ocean Road to your right.
