WP ex-chief Low Thia Khiang discharged from hospital, undergoing rehabilitation

SINGAPORE — Former Workers’ Party (WP) Secretary-General Low Thia Khiang was discharged from hospital on Thursday (21 May), the opposition party said on Friday.

In a post on Facebook, WP said Low is on hospitalisation leave. He is recuperating at home and undergoing rehabilitation.

Low, who was in the intensive care unit after suffering a fall at home on 30 April, was moved to a general ward on 4 May.

WP added, “Mr Low and his family wish to express their thanks to the staff of the ICU and Ward A82 of the Khoo Teck Puat General Hospital for their dedication and professionalism during his stay.”
