Xiao Zhen shares custody with ex
14 Nov – It was revealed that Taiwanese actress Xiao Zhen and her plastic surgeon husband, Li Jinliang, has decided to share the custody of their daughter.
As reported on Asianpopnews, despite the couple's inability to reach a settlement in their divorce proceedings, it was reported that they will have joint custody of their daughter, provided that Li Jinliang would pay a monthly alimony of NTD 500,000 (app. USD 17,256) to the actress.
The divorce proceeding was initialised by the couple after the Taiwanese actress allegedly caught her husband cheating for the 16th time with a model.
It was also reported that Li Jinliang wished to buy back the 20% shares owned by Xiao Zhen's father, Hu Gua, who invested NTD60 million into his clinic in 2007. However, the negotiations fell apart when Hu Gua asked to allocate an additional 40% shares to Xiao Zhen.
In addition, Xiao Zhen also reportedly plans to claim the ownership of the property in Xinyi District in Taipei that Jinliang intended for his daughter when she reaches 18 as she needs to fork out NTD 85,000 monthly on housing rental. The actress also re-claimed the two luxurious cars which were given to her as a wedding present from Li Jinliang.
If everything goes as the actress planned, Xiao Zhen would receive a massive alimony payout of NTD 850 million after divorce.
