The Asian Games have begun, and Singapore athletes are out in force in Palembang, Indonesia – some 246 athletes are representing the Republic in 22 sports.

All eyes will surely be on Singapore’s golden boy Joseph Schooling, who will be competing in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly.

But other sports are on display, such as fencing, air rifle and even contract bridge, meaning there’s something for nearly everyone.
