Yahoo Poll: How do you feel about the prospects for Singapore's property market in 2019?
Property experts had previously thought that the government’s property cooling measures introduced mid-way through 2018 would have a chilling effect on the market. However, it seems that may not be the case.
After the cooling measures in July, prices still rose in Q3 2018. Cumulatively, private property prices have risen 7.9% this year.
A flood of new supply has also had the unexpected effect of pushing prices up, rather than down.
How do you feel about the prospects for Singapore’s property market in 2019? Will prices continue to rise or will there be a correction? Have your say in our poll and leave a comment below.
