Wet weather and cool temperatures are expected during the first half of December, the Meteorological Service Singapore said on Friday (30 November).

There is a possibility that the daily minimum temperature could dip to a low of between 22°C and 23°C on a few days during the period. Singapore last went into joyful delight when temperatures in the sweltering city-state went down to as low as 21°C this past January.

With sustained rainfall, however, comes the possibility of flooding – and the Public Utilities Board is thus stepping up prevention measures such as handing out sandbags in flood-prone areas.

Given that cooler temperatures are likely to be accompanied by rainfall, we ask: Are you looking forward to the cooler, wetter weather in Singapore? Have your say in our poll and leave a comment below.
