The 20 most popular online searches on Yahoo UK revealed

Coronavirus, 'Harry and Meghan', Donald Trump and Prince Philip were among the most popular internet search terms this year.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, coronavirus topped the table of the most searched-for terms of the year on Yahoo! UK, followed by a raft of famous names and couples.

They included former US President Donald Trump, who left the White House in January this year, broadcaster Piers Morgan and royal couples Harry and Meghan and William and Kate.

Prince Philip, who died in April this year at the age of 99, was fifth on the list.

Other terms in the top ten included 'Cryptocurrencies' as well as TV personality Amanda Holden and broadcaster Susanna Reid. They were joined by Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
