A warning has been issued that heavy rain is expected in south-east England.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the region, with showers likely to cause travel disruption.

The warning is in place from 02:00 GMT on Thursday until 06:00 on Friday, and covers Surrey, Kent and East and West Sussex.

Transport is likely to be disrupted, roads will be extremely wet, and flooding of some homes and businesses is possible, the Met Office said.
