‘Yellowstone’ Becomes First Series to Top List of Titles Consumers Are Most Excited About Since ‘Fallout’
What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.
ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment options every week and whether each has gained or lost momentum compared to the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.
“Yellowstone” rises to No. 1 during the week of its highly anticipated Season 5 Part 2 premiere. This is the first TV show to reach No. 1 since Amazon Studio’s “Fallout” in April, and Part 2 has generated more excitement than Season 5 Part 1 back in 2022. Universal Pictures’ “Wicked,” opening this Friday, dips to No. 2. “NFL Football” rounds out the Top 3 while Disney’s “Moana 2” continues its upward journey to land at No. 4. Netflix’s first live boxing event, “Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson,” which was streamed by a record number of viewers on Friday, Nov. 15, joins the list at No. 5.
“Red One” moves up one spot to No. 6 during the week of its release. “Deadpool & Wolverine,” now available to stream on Disney+, falls two spots to No. 7. Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator II,” coming in at No. 8, has already earned an impressive $87 million in the international box office and makes its U.S. debut this Friday. “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” lands at No. 9. The ghost with the most will be available to stream on Max on Dec. 6. “The Penguin” has retuned at No. 10 during the week of its Season 1 finale.
