Young people create art reflecting lockdown life

An online exhibition about lockdown life

has launched from a collaboration

'The Way I See It' features paintings, photographs, films, and poetry

by young people across England

reflecting on life under lockdown

(SOUNDBITE) (English) 16-YEAR-OLD YOUTH MEMBER OF THE ENGLISH NATIONAL OPERA, MAYA, SAYING:

"I don't think what people realize is that they're being creative every day in their own lives already. Whether that's reading a book, or even on your phone, just consuming Netflix, listening to music on your way to work, you're always consuming the arts. And I think people should realize that more. And when they connect to it, they feel much happier and it really uplifts their mood. So I think if people realized that more and touched in (with) more of their creative outlets, it would really help us, yeah."
