Zahid arrives in Sibu for working visit to schools

SIBU: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has arrived in the state for his working visit to schools in the division.

Zahid, who is also the Home Minister, together with his entourage arrived at the Sibu Airport here at 6.32pm.

Present to welcome Zahid and his entourage, including Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, were State Housing and Local Government Minister Prof Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and State Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.

The deputy prime minister is expected to visit four schools, in which, some of them were dilapidated, tomorrow.

He would begin his working tour by visiting Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Rosli Dhobi followed by Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Durin and SK Ulu Sungai Salim.

Zahid will conclude his working visit here to SK Kampung Banyok before returning to Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon.
