Zara Tindall Is the Latest Royal Hoping to Help Princes Harry and William Make Amends
She could be joining forces with Princess Beatrice to bring the brothers back together.
It seems like the royal cousins are scheming to get the gang back together. Case in point? Just days after reports that Princess Beatrice may "initiate peace" between Princes Harry and William, a new source told Fox News that another of the brothers' cousins, Zara Tindall, also wants to help the two make amends.
"Beatrice and Zara both want the royal family to be seen in the best possible light," royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told the outlet. "Both have strong values and common sense. They are out of the maelstrom of William and Harry and are good at building bridges and calming situations."
Because Beatrice and Zara are close with both William and Harry, Turner thinks that they could be key in a reconciliation.
"This could be an effective force in bringing the brothers back together and finding a way forward with Meghan [Markle] and the children," he said.
Both Beatrice and Zara have stepped up amid King Charles and Kate Middleton's respective battles with cancer. Although they are not working royals, the two have attended major events on behalf of the family, such as the Royal Ascot and Wimbledon. Turner added that William has taken notice of Beatrice's efforts.
"Beatrice has caught the eye of William as she tried to fill in for Kate during her convalescence time this year," he explained. "She has the exuberance of life, like her mother Sarah Ferguson."
Earlier this month, King Charles' former royal butler, Grant Harrold, suggested that Beatrice could be integral in reconnecting the family. "[Princess] Beatrice could act as a peacemaker for Harry, William, and Charles," he told Express. "She would be someone to initiate peace in the family. She’s close to both William and Harry, as well as the King—and they trust her."
