Zax Wang's wife hospitalised
22 Dec – Taiwanese actress and TV personality Ji Qin has been hospitalised after complaining about her severe headache.
As reported on 21CN, the actress, who is also the wife of former 5566 member Zax Wang, had been suffering from migraines for the past two months, but had passed on medical check-ups due to her hectic schedule managing her work and two children, Le Le and Ya Ya.
However, on 16 December, Zax, who was at home when her headache worsened, decided to take her to the hospital. It was later revealed that Ji Qin has a dissection in the inner lining of her vertebral artery that supplies blood to the brain.
She was also advised to be warded for observation as the condition may also cause a mild stroke.
Addressing the media on his wife's condition, Zax thanked the media and fans for their concern and said, "My wife is fine and is recovering well now. She's being put on drip and medication, she is able to eat normally. But she will have to stay in the hospital for a week."
The singer added that his wife's condition might have been caused by a bad massage that she had during her overseas trip or over-exertion while she was exercising.
