Zhang Liang admits to have filed for divorce in 2017
2 Dec– Six years after joining the Hunan TV reality show, "Where Are We Going, Dad?", model-actor Zhang Liang (also known as Sean Zhang) revealed that he has actually been divorced for the past two years.
As reported on ET Today, the model confessed the news on Weibo late last week, saying that he has decided to announce the bad news - despite not wanting it to become a focus - so as to not be dishonest about his status.
"[My wife] Kou Jing and I had already filed for divorce in 2017 due to differences of opinion in regard to family matters. But we have been taking care of the children together," he wrote.
Zhang also asked netizens not to speculate on the cause of their divorce any further.
Zhang and Kou tied the knot in 2005. They have two children together – 12-year-old son Tiantian, who was part of the said variety show, and another daughter born in 2015.
