Zhang Ziyi wants more Hong Kong movies

7 Mar – Winning Best Actress yet again, this time at the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild 25th anniversary party and award presentation, Chinese star Zhang Ziyi revealed that she hopes to work with more Hong Kong directors in the future.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who accepted the award for her performance in "The Grandmaster" at the event that was held on 5 March, expressed, "I have not starred in many Hong Kong movies since working with Wong Kar Wai on "2046"."
"I felt my performance and my English language have improved, but not my Cantonese. Thus I hope to work with various Hong Kong directors, such as Derek Yee," said the actress.
Having already won Best Actress for the third time through her role in "The Grandmaster", Zhang stated that she would not think so much about winning it again at the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards.
"I will let the judges decide. An actor can only control what he or she does on set. Awards, good reviews and box office sales are just bonuses," said the actress.
When asked if she would share the award with boyfriend, Chinese rocker Wang Feng, Zhang smiled and replied, "Happiness should be shared with family, friends, lover and fans."
