Zoie Tam gains respect for Luk Wing after filming "Barrack O'Karma"
23 Sep – TVB actress Zoie Tam recently admitted that she has a new-found respect for her drama co-star Luk Wing while filming their new series, "Barrack O'Karma".
As reported on HK01, the actress, who spoke about their roles in the new series, shared that Luk Wing was very professional on set despite the fact that they had several intimate scenes in the drama.
"In the drama, Luk Wing's character has the ability to help people change their luck through sexual intercourse and I played his ex-girlfriend who wants him back. I thought to myself that there will be a lot of intimate scenes that we can't avoid," she said.
However, Zoie stated that instead of feeling uncomfortable about the situation, especially since Luk himself is married, her co-star made it easier by reporting every single one of those scenes to his wife.
"Luk would tell her, 'There are bed scenes with Zoie today. We might have to kiss', and that made me more comfortable as well. After working with him, I really feel like he really is a good husband. He would have his doubts, but as soon as we film it, we would both be very professional about it," she said.
Zoie also believes that the drama marks a breakthrough for her when it comes to the subject matter.
"I like to play more diverse roles to challenge myself, and to enable the audience to see something different and fresh from me," she said.
