    5 good skin habits your mother should’ve told you about

    Dont just moisturise – but moisturise correctly for your age.

    They say a habit – good or bad – is formed after 30 days. Your skin’s glow and (and your money!) can be saved if you get into these 5 daily good skin practices now. When you are older, it will be too late. Your mum can’t turn back the clock but you can certainly slow yours down and be on the road to looking fabulous before you can say “Joan Rivers” or be addressed as “Auntie” way before your time.

    Habit #1: Wash off all your makeup at night no matter what.
    This will save you from: “Microdermabrasion” – pores that are not properly cleansed of impurities will dull and stretch becoming larger, therefore prematurely showing signs of ageing.

    Habit #2:  Drink water every day.
    This will save you from: Injectable fillers (like Restylane). Skin remains hydrated and retains elasticity, resulting in supple youthful appearance.

    Habit #3: Hands off! Don’t pick and poke.
    This will save you from: Facial scars (and scar treatments). Your mother is right; keep your hands off your face! For extreme acneaic (or acne-prone) skin, consult a doctor and get on a proper skin regimen to clear up your skin.

    Habit #4: Not just moisturise – but moisturise correctly for your age

    This will save you from: Facial peels or Botox. Not using proper skincare may result in wrinkles earlier than you expect. Every 2-3 years, you may need to change your routine based on hormones, lifestyle and wellness. It’s vital you re-evaluate your skincare regimen and the products you use at each decade of your life (20s, 30s, 40s, etc).

    Habit #5: Sunscreen
    This will save you from: Laser or whitening treatments. There really is no excuse not to put on sunscreen. Aside from pigmentation and age spots, the risk of skin cancer is heightened without the use of sunscreen.

      hey gals/guys, what i have shared below, is not those with serious acne problems or allergic or hyper sensitive skin. it only applicable to those with normal skin.

      It's a waste of time and money. Beauty come from within. A face is a face. In a total perspective we humans look quite ugly. Naked all over the body except from the top of the head compared with cat's. They are overall hairy and looks perfect.

      1. Avoid heaty sun 2. no coffee no tobacco 3. less or no meat 4. eat fruits and vegetables 5. no fried food 6. avoid staying late at night 7. keep fit 8. drink water always 9. remove make up before sleep 10. Don't angry.
      It gives me good skin and complexion.

      Habit #2: Drink water everyday?
      Hahahaaa.... i think its kinda crapz. I hardly drink water, 1 cup mostly but coke and other kinda drinks.
      I dun eat vegetables mostly or stress it as important.
      i love to eat fast food.
      i love to eat fried food.
      But my skin condition? fair, with rosy complexion. except recently a few brown spots as i often under the sun.
      I am 38yr old guy, but alot girls, not guys, but are actually girls..... admire my skin sooooo much. A customer told me yesterday that i am only 30. Or rather, i been hearing alot compliments for past 15 years and everyone always assume i eat healthy food, like bird nest, etc.

      My replies is always - KFC.

      By the way, i heard some guys tried using their kinda 'stuff' on their face. it turn out to be a breakout. LOL....

      How to have great skin like mine, other than following the above? being a 38yr old guy still hearing good comments from girls who are in the early 20s.

      1) A clean face is always important. But remember to moisture it after washing. ALWAYS.

      2) Always avoid the sun at all cost. Sunblock can never fully protect yr face. it only minimise the damages.

      3) Always scrub/rub yr face. i notice alot ppl dun rub off the dead skin at all. How i do it?
      i dun use branded stuff- only soap. After 1 wash with warm or hot shower water, i can still feel some oil. I wash another time, now my face feels oil-free. So next, with my fingers, i rub off the dead skin, just like i rub off the dead skin on my body. Wash again with water. Rub off another time, mildly this time. Wash off with water. Apply a moisturiser which is SUITABLE to yr skin. Do not bother to use those scrubs when inside has only a few pathetic beads. Also those with alot beads, do NOT rub too hard.
