It can't get any bigger than this.

Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Saturday with all eyes fixed on the pre-match formalities — will Patrick Evra and Luis Suarez shake hands?

The pair made headlines for all the wrong reasons during the 1-1 draw at Anfield last October after Suarez was found guilty of making racist remarks at Evra which led to an eight-match ban for the Uruguayan.

As if there isn't enough spice to the mouth-watering clash, both players will face off against each other for the first time since the saga with Suarez set to make his first start since returning from his ban.

Meanwhile, the Reds will hold no fear at Old Trafford on Saturday as they are still fresh from their 2-1 win over United in the FA Cup last month.

And Kenny Dalglish's men will be out to dent the title hopes of the Red Devils, who trail leaders Manchester City by just two points, while at the same time boosting their own chances of a top-four finish.

The United-Liverpool rivalry is one of the fiercest in football. It transcends all ages, races and nationalities. More so, it has the power to divide friends and families (when it comes to football that is).

United and Liverpool fans around the world — Singapore included -- are known to be fiercely loyal and are quick to put aside any friendship when it's time to stand up for their club.

Yahoo! Singapore spoke to a few die-hard fans from both sides about the match and the rivalry that continues to play a big part in their lives.

Gary Ho, Liverpool fan for 13 years

"Despite United being more successful than Liverpool over the recent years, I still feel the rivalry is still there. I can see it being a draw game but it will be a fiercely contested one, especially with the Suarez and Evra case."

Prediction: Man United 2 Liverpool 2

Marwan Zulkifli, Man United fan for 18 years

"Personally I think United is going to avenge for the defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup. We showed Chelsea what we are capable of last week. So I am confident United will do the job at Old Trafford.

"The pressure will be on Suarez after what happen in the 'racial' row. Perhaps this will also put Liverpool to pressure and United can capitalize on it. Go United!"

Prediction: Man United 3 Liverpool 1

Stella Leong, Liverpool fan for a year

"The rivalry is as fierce as before. I still squabble with my colleague every week! I think it will be a very tightly contested game so a draw for me."

Prediction: Man United 1 Liverpool 1

Edmund Lim, Man United fan for 10 years

"There's just something special about the rivalry between United and Liverpool. Even though the Reds are no longer a threat to us in the league, I still see them as United's greatest rivals and the match I look forward to the most is still United vs Liverpool.

"I expect a close match at Old Trafford but the battle that everyone will be keeping their eyes on will be Suarez-Evra."

Prediction: Man United 2 Liverpool 1

Chris Proctor, Liverpool fan for 25 years

"As a Liverpool fan, I'm hoping for a win for the Reds! But from a neutral point of view, it's going to be very tight and congested. A mistake will lose the game and I'm sure United will capitalize on that. We are missing Lucas."

Prediction: Man United 2 Liverpool 0

Goh Wei Yang, Man United fan for 6 years

"I have many friends who are Liverpool fans but we will be enemies this Saturday. It will be a tight match for sure and to be honest, I am not too confident that United will win this after losing to the Reds in the FA Cup. But I'm still going for a United win!"

Prediction: Man United 1 Liverpool 0

Chen Weide, Liverpool fan for 23 years

"I expect some controversy and I hope that football will ultimately be the main showpiece but I guess there is bound to be some black sheep who would lose it and spoil the beautiful game.

"I feel the rivalry is fiercer than before. Especially Liverpool fans who have not tasted victory as champions for so many years. Personally I feel that United players and its manager are just hypocrites. That's just my opinion though."

Prediction: Man United 1 Liverpool 2

Matthew David Chua, Man United fan for 10 years

"The rivalry between United and Liverpool is sure to be intense with the history between the two clubs and plus the recent Evra-Suarez saga, the entire match is definetly be a crack of a game!"
