Dead body found in Singapore River
A Chinese woman was found floating in the Singapore River under the Helix Bridge on Friday night.
According to the police, she was pronounced dead at the scene at about 11.50pm by paramedics.
The police said that they had received a call at about 11.20pm informing of a dead body found floating in the river off Bayfront Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, the body was found floating under the Helix Bridge.
It is believed that the body was a female Chinese between the age of 40-50.
Police have classified the case as unnatural death and investigations are ongoing.
