Certificate of Entitlement (COE) quotas will be announced every three months instead of six, said the Land Transport Authority on Monday. A shorter recycling period will enable better and more prompt matching of the number of new COEs to be issued to replace de-registered vehicles. It also cut the number of COEs for the next window, sparking fears over COE prices – currently in the S$70,000 to $80,000 range – even further.
