Footballer Harun Rahamad, who has cerebral palsy, joins the team for the first time to represent Singapore in Austria, and he is not anxious about his oppositions who come from Netherlands and Germany. Instead, the pressure is on him to gain exposure for his Singapore Cerebral Palsy team ahead of their participation at the ASEAN Para-Games in Myanmar early next year.

Two Lebanese match officials jailed in Singapore for accepting free sex from an alleged match-fixer have refused to return to the city-state to testify at his trial, a court heard Tuesday. They were deported in June after serving three-month prison sentences for accepting the services of a prostitute as a bribe from Singaporean nightclub owner Eric Ding Si Yang.

Retired Geylang United (now known as Geylang International) player Paul “PJ” Roberts was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, and is currently receiving treatment for his ailment. His former club has expressed their well-wishes towards him and hopes he will make a speedy recovery.

Real cause of ‘Satanic Sacrifice’ pony found

A pony found in, England, apparently died in July under mysterious and horrific circumstances - it had been mutilated, and several of its organs were missing. This fueled speculation that it was killed in some sort of satanic or pagan ritual sacrifice. However, recent discovery found that it had died due to natural causes.
