BTS Gathers 5,000 Fans for First Japanese Fan Meeting

BTS successfully held its first Japanese fan meeting.

BTS launched BTS Japan Official Fan Meeting Vol. 1 at 3 and 7 p.m. on May 31, gathering over 5,000 Japanese fans in Tokyo Dome City Hall.

The fan meeting was originally scheduled to take only at 7 p.m. but due to the fans’ heated requests, the event was extended by one more round, taking place at 3 p.m., and both rounds were sold out immediately. The event also gathered reporters from over 30 Japanese media outlets, proving the country’s heated interest on the group.

BTS performed eight songs for the event, including No More Dream, Boy In Luv, Just One Day and more, and held an inauguration ceremony for its official fan club in Japan.




BTS said, “Thank you for coming to our first official fan meeting in Japan. We will be making our official debut in Japan soon so we ask that you show us a lot of love. Let’s stay together for a long time!”

BTS will be releasing its debut single No More Dream – Japanese Ver. on June 4 and will begin promotions in japan. The album includes No More Dream, Rise of Bangtan, I Like It, re-recorded in Japanese, and was participated by Japanese rapper KM-Markit, who has worked with m-flo, Zeebra and more.
