COE prices for small, big cars drop
In the first bidding exercise this April, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices dropped in most categories except for commercial vehicles.
Premiums for small cars premium dropped S$3,000 to S$61,029, the third consecutive drop in small car premiums since February.
The premium for big cars or cars above 1,600cc dropped the most, by almost S$7,000 to S$67,010. The Open Category premium is now S$66,989, a drop of over S$6,000 from its original figure. The latter premium is usually reserved for bigger cars.
While COE prices for motorcycles dipped five percent to S$1,812, commercial vehicles experienced a jump in prices. The latter’s COE rose some three percent to S$56,011.
