EXILE's Naoki diagnosed with spinal disorder

26 Jan – Japanese pop dance group EXILE performer, Naoki Kobayashi, or better known simply as Naoki, has been diagnosed with a spinal disorder and would restricted from rigorous activities until treatment is complete.

According to Tokyo Hive, Naoki was diagnosed with spinal canal stenosis; an abnormal condition that narrows the spinal cord leading to restriction to the spinal cord on the cervical region, and would be seeking immediate treatment.

He has been advised not to be involved with rigorous movements like dancing for the duration of the treatment which is believed to take several months. Naoki is expected to make his official comeback to the group in April where he will perform at the EXILE Tribe concert.

"During my treatment, I will have to limit my dancing and vigorous exercises. I'm very sorry to those who were looking forward to my performance. However, I will continue to do my best with the activities that won't interfere with my treatment," Naoki commented on the official website of the group which won the Best Song of the Japan Record Award in 2010, for their hit "Someday".
