Fish Leong clarifies hiatus rumours

5 Mar – Fish Leong has recently denied speculations that she will be taking a break from her career to take care of her son.

According to Apple Daily News, the Malaysian-born singer recently surprised her fans with a message online, saying that she will most likely focus on her son, Anderson, after her concert.

The message was misinterpreted as Fish announcing her temporary retirement, causing fans to express their sadness and dissatisfaction.

She later deleted the post, and later clarified via her manager that she removed the message to avoid more misunderstanding.

Her manager explained that Fish only meant that she would not be holding another large scale concert tour after her current one, to begin in mainland China next week, as she would like to spend more time with her son.

The ballad singer has already reduced her workload since giving birth to Anderson last April.
