London art sale to accompany the unveiling of Republic of Fritz Hansen's Saatchi Suite

An upcoming installation in London will see artworks from emerging artists at Saatchi Art displayed alongside furniture pieces from luxury studio Republic of Fritz Hansen.

‘Spring Fever' will take place at Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill to celebrate the opening of the hotel's Fritz Hansen-designed Saatchi Suite.

A variety of pieces from the Saatchi Gallery's online platform of emerging artists will be on sale during the installation, which encourages guests and visitors to interact with fine art in an original setting.

Artists featured will include rising talents such as Gabriella Boyd, who has exhibited at the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition and at the Beijing Biennale, and Tahnee Lonsdale, shortlisted for the 2012 Dazed and Confused Emerging Artist award for ‘100 Painters of Tomorrow'.

The Saatchi Suite features classic Republic of Fritz Hansen designs, including the highly sought-after four-piece furniture collection by Danish designer Poul Kjaerholm entitled 'PK 4x20'. Kjaerholm's creations are displayed in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and other museum collections across Europe.

Founded in 1872 by Danish furniture cabinet maker Fritz Hansen, Republic of Fritz Hansen is today recognized as one of the world's leading design and manufacturers of exclusive furniture. Known for its collaborations with some of the world's most influential architects and designers, such as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm, it has resulted in a notable collection of exclusive furniture designs including the iconic 'Egg Chair'.

Spring Fever will take place on March 27 for one day only.
