The registers of electors have been revised and will be open for public inspection from 24 February 2015 to 9 March 2015, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a press release on Monday (23 Feb).

The revised registers will contain the names of all qualified electors as of 1 February 2015.

During the inspection period, Singaporeans can check their particulars online (through http://www.eld.gov.sg), at community centres, at overseas registration centres, and at the Elections Department located at 11 Prinsep Link.

A person can also submit a claim to include his name in the registers or submit an objection to remove a name from the registers in the inspection window.

Additional overseas polling station

The Consulate-General of Singapore in Dubai has been designated as an overseas polling station for future elections, in addition to the 9 current overseas polling stations.

The polling station in Dubai will also serve as a centre for registration of overseas electors and checking of particulars in the registers of electors.

The current overseas polling stations are in New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Canberra.
