21 Jun – Actress Shin Se-kyung and SHINee member Jong-hyun have gone their separate ways, officially putting an end to their relationship that started in October last year.

According to Shin Se-kyung's agency on 20 June, Shin Se-Kyung and Jong-hyun are no longer dating. According to allkpop, Shin Se-kyung's management agency stated: "It's our policy to refrain from making any comments about our client's personal issues. But we asked recently about their relationship and it was confirmed that the two just decided to become friends."

The agency explained: "Shin Se-kyung has been really busy with her movie filming schedules lately and Jong-hyun was on a tight world tour schedule, making it extremely hard for them to see each other."

Another representative revealed: "I think it was hard for them to make time for each other, as each had very different schedules to complete."

Shin Se-kyung is currently filming her new movie: "Flight: Close to the Sun" co-starring Rain, while Jong-hyun has been busy preparing for SHINee's showcase at the Abbey Road Studios in London ahead of their Japanese tour.

Jong-hyun and Shin Se-kyung were caught dating secretly by South Korean media in October last year. After the release of the paparazzi photos, their respective agencies admitted to the star couple's relationship, asking the press to be nice to the couple.
