Square Enix announces Dragon Sky
Square Enix just announced a teaser site for their new mobile game Dragon Sky. Judging from the site, the game is still a ways away from being ready, but boy does it look beautiful.
The teaser site has yet to name Dragon Sky’s hero, but what it does tell us is that its protagonist has found himself in a new world without any memory of how he got there. As he looks around he sees a bluer and closer sky, a woman he has never met, and a talking animal that he’s never seen before. The woman, named Mashu, suggests that if he fights, he might find his way home.
Although it is unclear how this story will fit in with the gameplay, the site stresses that you will collect cards that contain fighters to add to your unit. You will then command these units in RTS battles. There appears to be both online play that will let you battle with up to 50 friends at once. That’s a lot for a mobile game to handle!
If you register now, you will receive a special ‘R’ card that contains the character, Asumika. She is a cute, blue haired, axe wielding warrior that will give you a 20% boost to attack when used.
