On Thursday, December 6, Twitter users are talking about the nominations for the Grammy Awards and mourning the death of architect Oscar Niemeyer.

Last night's Grammy nominations concert revealed the artists in the running for 2013's prestigious Grammy Awards. Among the selected artists are the Black Keys and Frank Ocean, for album of the year, Carly Rae Jepsen and Ed Sheeran for song of the year; Drake and Rick Ross for best rap album and Kanye West for best rap song. A full list of the nominations for the awards, which take place on February 10, can be found at grammy.com.

Twitter users are also taking to the microblogging site to mourn the death of Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. Niemeyer was instrumental in transforming Brazil's landscape with his free-flowing style of design, which made great use of curves.
