Vine adds music feature for seamless looping

The Vine social media network allows users to create and watch short videos

Video looping app Vine has added a new music feature that allows users to add a soundtrack to their six-second clip.

Called Snap to Beat, the program includes a catalogue of songs that users can choose from to create a seamless loop for their video.

The automated program can trim the video to fit the clip, but can also be turned off so that users can edit the audio tracks separately.

In response to popular demand, users can now also see the name of the song and artist on Vine vidoes.

The feature is available for on iOS and Android.
