Yachts, sports cars and jets on show at Luxury China

High-end brands from all over the world are descending on Beijing this weekend for the Luxury China exhibition.

The three-day event sees luxury brands showcasing their products and services from yachts to limousines, watches, jewelry, wine and art.

Exclusive sports cars, fashion collections, real estate and antiques are also represented at the conference.

Hosted at the Beijing Exhibition Center, this year's event sees an influx of European companies exhibiting for the first time, including Swiss anti-aging specialists La Fontaine Suisse SA.

Last year's show attracted over 300 brands from countries including Switzerland, France, Italy, the UK -- some of whom set up their own personal pavilions at the event.

Over 13,000 high-end consumers flocked to see the exhibitors, who in the past have included Jaguar, Land Rover, Bell Helicopter and Morgan Cars.

The total business sales volume from 2013 hit an estimated $100 million and this year's event is expected to generate $135 million.

According to the Hurun report published earlier this year, Asia experienced a billionaire boom in 2013, with more than 200 people seeing their net worth pass into 10 figures.

Luxury China runs July 4-6.
