PM Lee spoke about hope, heart and home in his National Day Rally, but our reader Jo-Anne feels that he missed out on one important "H": happiness. (Yahoo! file photo)

At the recent National Day Rally, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong urged Singapore to come together in a national discourse.

A 26-member “Our Singapore” Committee chaired by Education Minister Heng Swee Keat was announced over the weekend with its members coming from all walks of life which include a taxi driver, social entrepreneurs, artists,  students, academics, media and politicians.

The committee will soon start to engage the public in over 30 dialogue sessions, each involving 50 to 150 people and to be conducted in different languages and dialects. About 3,000 to 4,000 people will be polled by November or December.

So what topics matter to you most?

Although the list is by no way exhaustive, Yahoo! Singapore has compiled a list of 10 important issues.

Have your say.
