After admitting that  they cheated in the competition, 'Showbiz Royalties' Patrizha Martinez and Cathy Bautista and Du brothers Ralph and Christian quit the Pinoy Biggest Loser Doubles Edition last Saturday, April 5.

They violated the rules by bringing junk food and cigarettes and taking laxatives and slimming tea in the camp. The four turned  emotional as they apologized to the other contestants, the coaches and their supporters.

Christian, who admitted smoking in the camp, thinks the experience can make him a better person.

"Siguro ito yung way para maintindihan ko ang sarili ko. Siguro sa mga nagawa ko, sa mga nasaktan ko, sisiguraduhin ko na matututo ako na ipapasa ko lahat ng matututunan ko dito. Sa competition na ito, magvovolunteer ako na end na ng journey ko sa Biggest Loser."

Value of integrity

His brother Ralph now realizes the value of integrity. He admitted that he never thought he would resort to cheating.

"There's nothing good with what I did."

"Katulad ng kapatid ko, nabulag ako sa spirit ng competition dito sa "Biggest Loser." Kahit ako, hindi ko inakala na darating ako sa point na magiging ganoon ako, lalo na't tinuturo sa min  ng dad ko palagi na integridad ang hindi mo kailangan bilhin. Ako rin, nagdedecide to voluntarily end my journey," Ralph addded.

Sorry and disappointed

Cathy, a member of the Revilla clan in showbiz, expressed how sorry she is for disappointing her supporters. She stepped out of the competition because she wants to get back and "know the real Cathy again." Cathy and Patrizha used laxatives and brought cigarettes into the camp.

"Nadi-disappoint ako because I disappointed a lot of people, my parents, BL, the coaches, the contestants, everyone who believed in me, from beginning till the end. Even ate Pat, I disappointed her. Right now, thinking of what I did, it wasn't worth it. I could have stayed true to myself. Sobrang I can't even express how sorry I am to you guys," Cathy said.

Patrizha, who wanted  lose weight and make her father, former actor  William Martinez proud, hopes  people won't just remember her for her mistake.

Four bets left

"This isn't who I am, I want people to remember me na siya yung nagkamali pero buo niyang hinarap. Tapos taas noo rin siyang babangon."

Pinoy Biggest Loser is  down to four contestants -- Osie, Kayen and siblings Bryan and Ikya. Although they admitted feeling hurt over the cheating,  the remaining bets would still like to continue their  friendship with Christian, Ralph, Cathy and Patrizha.

"For the longest time nagkulong lang ako sa kwarto just because I knew what was happening and takot ako to get into trouble. So kahit na gusto ko maki-socialize, talagang pinigil ko na hindi kasi naiirita ako to see it happening. But I don't want to judge them, super appreciate ko na they admitted greed was there. Our friendship goes beyond that," Kayen said.
