10 Best Ladies’ Night Spots in Singapore Perfect For an Affordable Girls Night Out
Sometimes getting through the work week can be a real struggle. Come Wednesday, most of us are craving a much deserved break and a little middle of the week fun. Have no fear, ladies night to the rescue.
Whether you’re in the mood to hit the club until 2:00am, or to have a relaxed glass of wine (or 3) with your girlfriends straight from the office, the following Singapore establishments are sure to give you your mid-week fix – at an all important discount.
So come next Wednesday grab your party dress, or stay in your work attire, gather your best gal pals and head out to one of these hot spots offering great atmosphere and stellar ladies night specials.
1. KPO Cafe Bar
Head on over to KPO for 1-for-1 Strongbow cider bottles ($14.00), or their high tea set of canapés for 4-6 pax ($88). KPO is nicely split into three distinct areas – the downstairs lounge, the outdoor patio and the more laid back upstairs bar – depending on your mood that evening. KPO also plays host to a different live band every Wednesday night.
Strongbow ciders come in six different flavors: Gold, Elderflower, Red Berries, Honey, Apple and Draught.

2. Señor Taco
Looking for some tacos, margaritas and a side of salsa dancing? Señor Taco, located in the heart of Clarke Quay, offers up 1-for-1 house margaritas and ‘Latin Lovers’ cocktails ($16). Wednesday also happens to be Salsa Dancing night. Muster up some liquid courage and sign up for lessons ($10/hour).

3. Barakka
Barakka is one of my personal favorite ladies night locations. Why? First, their menu of 1-for-1 house wine ($7-$13) options is lengthy. My favorite is the $8 Prossecco. I also love that you are almost always guaranteed to get a table. This is key if you are looking for some quiet conversation, or gathering a large group of girls last minute and want to be sure you have enough seats.

4. CÉ LA VI
The institution that is CÉ LA VI (formerly monikered Ku De Ta), offers up no cover charge for ladies and 1 house pour wine every Wednesday night. Men can feel a little special too on Wednesday with a discounted $28 cover charge and one free house drink. Check it out for the spectacular views, dancing and DJs.

5. Kazbar
Every once in a while in the Singapore heat I really crave a large, ice-cold glass of sangria. Located in the business friendly area of Capital Square, Kazbar is a great spot to head to after work – or lunch time if you’re sneaky! Their 1-for-1 sangria ($16.50) packs a punch and is almost always guaranteed to quench your thirst.
Bonus points for their excellent menu of Middle Eastern sharing dishes.

6. The Exchange
One cannot compile a list of ladies night specials in Singapore and not include The Exchange. The banking and Google crowd from nearby Asia Square and MBFC come here to let their hair down. Ladies enjoy free flow martinis and margaritas all night long. Now that’s a deal that’s hard to beat.

7. Bar Canary
Hotel bars are often not my personal favorite, but Bar Canary provides a more relaxed, no dress code, outdoor atmosphere. On Wednesday night they offer ladies 2 hours of free flow champagne, house wine, spirits and cocktails for ($50++). I am definitely going to add this place to my Wednesday night rotation.

8. Catalunya
Catalunya is another location easily accessible for the CBD after work crowd. The popular Spanish restaurant offers 1-for-1 house wine, beer, cocktails and spirits. However, note that my favorite, the Reversed gin & tonic, is unfortunately not included in the promotion.

9. The Lantern
For one hour only, The Lantern provides free flow mixed vodka drinks. Have a couple drinks and take in the iconic views of the marina over dinner. Food items on the a la cart menu are 20% off all evening long.

10. Club Kyo
Did you accidentally forget it was Wednesday night? Or perhaps you feel like keeping your hot streak alive. Kyo makes the list with the only Thursday night ladies night promotion. Kyo offers freeflow housepour vodka cranberry drinks and gin & tonics with a side of serious late night partying.
