Well folks, another year has come and gone. The past year has undoubtedly been filled with ups and downs, and we are finally almost to the end of 2022. What better way is there to close out the year than with a scrumptious dinner on the 31st of December?

Here are 10 places in Singapore offering specially curated New Year’s Eve dinner menus for you to close out the year with a bang.

1. Jade

Jade is a Cantonese restaurant at Fullerton Hotel, specialising in authentic Chinese cuisine of the highest quality. The restaurant is helmed by Executive Chinese Chef Leong Chee Yeng, and this year, Jade will be offering two different five-course set menus on 31 December.

Starlight New Year’s Eve Menu 1 includes a Starlight Platter with four items, like Thai-Style Deep-Fried Oyster and Spiced Salted Water-poached Sliced Duck. The mains include Mini Buddha Jumps Over The Wall and Sautéed Diced Wagyu Beef with Roasted Sliced Garlic and Truffle Wild Mushroom.

Starlight New Year’s Eve Menu 2, on the other hand, comes with Boiled Kampong Chicken Wanton Superior Broth, Stir-fried West Australian Lobster with Ginger, Spring Onion and Asparagus, and Braised Beef Brisket with Wild Mushroom and La Mian.

Each set menu costs S$188++ per pax. Alternatively, paying S$268++ per pax will get you free-flow house champagne, house red wines and house white wines.

2. One Farrer Hotel

One Farrer Hotel will be ringing in the new year with a New Year’s Eve party named A Starry Night of Festivities. Look forward to being entertained by renowned local artistes and performers like singer Alemay Fernandez, mermaid Syrena, mentalist and mind reader Ferris Yeo, Urban Drum Crew and more.

The event will open with pre-party drinks, as well as a curated selection of Hors d’Oeuvres served at the poolside.

Enjoy an exquisite 4-course epicurean dinner accompanied by a performance from global Jazz singer Alemay Fernandez.

3. Andaz Singapore

Andaz Singapore’s premier restaurants, 665°F and 5 ON 25 both have special New Year’s Eve menus. Each also features private dining rooms for personal celebrations.

665°F

The heat isn’t just in the kitchen at 665°F. Chef de Cuisine Poh Boon Neo’s sizzling New Year’s Eve Five-course Dinner (S$208++, add S$138++ for wine pairing) begins with Boston Lobster Cocktail with Kaluga caviar, followed by two entrees of Crispy Scale Blue Cod Bouillabaisse and Semi Di Melone Pasta with winter black truffle.

Choose between Pira Oven-grilled A4 Kagoshima Wagyu Striploin “Persillade” or Patagonian Toothfish “Persillade“ for mains. They are both served with potato mille-feuille, parsnip and trio pepper sauce. Your Mango Lychee Mille-feuille paired with refreshing strawberry basil ice cream is served just in time for a sweet countdown.

For private dining, there is the Corner Private Room with panoramic views of Marina Bay; The Cellar Private Dining Salon, from where you can enjoy sights of the East Coast and Singapore Straits; and City View Private Room with stunning skyline views. They seat 6, 8 and 10 diners respectively.

5 ON 25

Modern as it is, Andaz Singapore prides itself on a touch of the traditional, too. 5 ON 25 is their Cantonese restaurant and will feature a New Year’s Eve Five-course Dinner (S$208++ per pax, min. 2 pax).

Head Chinese Chef Lim Hong Lih has created a remarkable feast that includes the delectable Truffle Crispy Chicken. Teeming with fish maw, bamboo pith, top shell and dried scallops, the Double-boiled Superior Chicken Soup just might be the highlight of the year. Wok-fried Yukimuro Wagyu Sirloin and Homemade Fish Noodles with Braised Australian Greenlip Abalone complete the tantalising savoury journey before dessert makes an unforgettable entrance. 

Prefer a more intimate beginning to a promising year? 5 ON 25 has a pair of private dining rooms— the 12-seater Emerald and 8-seater Ruby. Both feature spectacular vistas of the Singapore skyline and night sky.

Seafood lovers, here’s the perfect spot for you to enjoy a New Year’s Eve dinner. db Bistro & Oyster Bar‘s 5-course New Year’s Eve set dinner, which costs S$198++ per pax, comes with three seafood dishes, with two being oyster-based.

Start your meal with Oscietra Caviar, a warm oyster chowder, Maine Lobster Salad and Daniel Boulud’s Black Tie Scallops, studded with black truffle.

For your main, choose between Dover Sole Véronique or Beef Rossini. Finally, end the meal on a sweet note with Le Noisette, a chocolate and hazelnut pill.

This New Year’s Eve, Spago will be offering two seatings for its New Year’s Eve dinner.

It’s first seating, priced at S$235++ per pax, comes with dish options like a Seafood Platter, Grilled Octopus, Orecchiette with Lamb Ragu, Grilled “American Wagyu” Ribeye from Snake River Farms, Pan Seared Sea Bream “Laksa” and Honey Miso Broiled Black Cod.

It’s second seating, which is a little pricier at S$335++ per pax, offers a few more dish options, such as Seafood Tagliatelle and Grilled Iberico Pork Chop.

8. Brasserie Les Saveurs

Brasserie Les Saveurs will be offering an immersive French dining experience this New Year’s Eve, offering a selection of French delights.

Prices for their New Year’s Eve dinner start at S$228++, inclusive of non-alcoholic beverages. To enjoy alcohol with your meal, you can choose from four different options. The cheapest option, which costs S$298++, provides wine, beer and cocktails, while the most expensive option, which costs S$758++, consists of wine, beer, cocktails and Baron de Rothschild Blanc de Blancs 2008.

Dish options include Oyster Fines de Claire N 3, Alaskan King Crab, Pan Seared Foie Gras, Oven Roasted Christmas Turkey, Oven Roasted Lamb Rack, Steamed Cod Fish and Paté En Croute.

9. Peppermint

Ciao! Dolce Vita, located within Mandarin Oriental Singapore, allows you to enjoy an Italian New Year’s Eve with its New Year’s Eve set dinners.

The first seating, which will happen from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, offers a four-course set menu at S$158 per pax. The second seating, on the other hand, will take place from 8pm to 10pm, and will include a complimentary access to the Mandarin Oriental Singapore’s Poolside Countdown Party. The second seating offers a six-course set menu at S$298++ per pax, or S$398++ per pax with a wine pairing.
