11 Coronation Street spoilers for next week

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

In next week's Coronation Street, Liam is in serious danger when Mason pulls out a knife on him.

Elsewhere, Amy and Aadi are questioned by the police, and Ed's return to gambling is at risk of being rumbled.

Here's a look at the 11 big moments coming up.

1. Amy and Aadi face the music

Amy and Aadi are frantic with worry as they replay their encounter with dangerous predator, Dan.

After the shocking events of the previous night, the teens are clinging to the hope that Dan won't be able to remember anything when he wakes up.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case when DS Swain arrives on the cobbles and instructs both Amy and Aadi to accompany her to the police station.

2. Aadi and Amy share a kiss

As DS Swain starts firing questions at her, Amy requests a solicitor to be present in the room.

Dee-Dee soon arrives to represent her, and DS Swain resumes the interview, warning Amy that she could be looking at five years in prison for what she's done.

Back on the cobbles, Amy thanks Aadi for standing by her. Acting on his feelings, the smitten lad leans in for a kiss and Amy reciprocates, but suddenly pulls away as she's overcome by a wave of panic.

3. Mason frames Liam for theft

Sean wants to solve the mystery of Dylan's missing trainers and remains unaware Mason stole them from his son.

As Dylan heads off to school he deliberately ignores Liam waving to him, while Gary watches on, concerned by Dylan's animosity towards his stepson.

Dylan alerts Mason that Sean is planning to report his missing trainers, so he and Conch plant the shoes in Liam's locker then dob him into Mrs Crawshaw.

4. Mason threatens Liam with a knife

Liam's misery continues when Mason starts bombarding him with vicious messages and threatens to harm Maria if he gets him in trouble again.

Later, as Dylan apologises for his previous behaviour, Liam sees Mason approaching and runs off into Victoria Court.

Mason and his cronies corner the lad, showering him in rubbish and calling him a rat. Liam tries to fight back, but events take a sinister turn when Mason pulls out a knife.

5. Peter lashes out at Dylan

Later in the week, Dylan is coerced into bunking off school with Mason, and the duo spy Simon loading a box of vape pens from a returns pallet into Peter's car.

Mason orders Dylan to steal the vape pens and Peter is livid when Simon reveals they've been robbed.

Realising the culprit is a mate of Dylan's, Peter storms over to Number 11. But when Mason starts goading him, it's Dylan who finds himself on the receiving end of Peter's violent temper.

6. The locals fight for the Rovers

Ronnie tells Ed he's received a call from Luke, his property developer mate who wants them to oversee the conversion of The Rovers into flats.

Hoping it will help pay off his mounting debts, delighted Ed is up for the job. However, Debbie warns he'll have the whole of the street against him if he goes ahead.

She's not wrong, and as word of the proposed development reaches Glenda, she rallies the troops to stage a 'Save the Rovers' protest.

7. Ed's debt continues to rise

Christmas in the Bailey household looks set to be a busy affair when Michael informs Ed that Grandad Sarge will be joining them for the festivities and Dee-Dee invites Joel and his family to come along too.

Meanwhile, Ed is forced to mask his panic when Paul admits he can't pay him for the work on his flat until his disability grant comes through.

Later, Ed and Ronnie meet up with Luke to discuss the Rovers' renovation, but heartbroken Jenny feels betrayed by Ronnie and fears she's lost her beloved boozer for good.

8. Michael rumbles Ed

Still in possession of Norris Cole's credit card, Ed tries to use it to purchase a coffee in the café but is mortified when it gets declined.

As his stress levels soar, across the cobbles, Michael opens a letter addressed to Norris Cole, informing him that his card has been frozen due to suspected fraudulent activity.

Is he about to discover his dad has been gambling on the sly again?

9. Carla resorts to desperate measures

Ed isn't the only Weatherfield resident having a cashflow crisis – things are pretty tight for Carla over at Underworld.

The factory boss tells Beth and Sean she's paid their wages for last month and promises they'll have the money for the current month as long as they return to work and complete the order.

But Peter isn't pleased to learn Carla has been bribing her staff by increasing their wages and has a pop at her for not sharing her troubles with him.

10. Nina gets jealous

Nina gets an attack of the green-eyed monster when Asha reveals she's going to spend the day with her new university pal, Isla.

After hearing her girlfriend and Isla's plans to do coursework then go out for dinner, Nina is forced to admit to Asha she's jealous.

However, Asha soothes her fears by insisting there's nothing to worry about, and her and Isla are purely friends.

11. There's bad news for Bernie

As Joel prepares Bernie for her upcoming court case, he warns his client that she could be facing a custodial sentence if she's found guilty of the scam.

Devastated, Bernie breaks the news to Gemma, pointing out that if she gets sent to prison, she'll be forced to miss Paul's last Christmas.

Is her worst nightmare about to be realised?
