Next week's Coronation Street will see Sarah strike up a connection with Damon, while Stephen's drug plot is at risk of being exposed.
Meanwhile, Paul receives some news about his recent health issues.

1. Sarah and Adam clash over Damon
Nick finds Damon sitting at his desk and is shocked when Damon reveals that he's hired Adam to represent him. Nick confronts Adam about his decision to take Damon on as a client.
When Sarah finds out, she's furious with Adam and storms off to the hotel room that Adam had booked for date night.
At the hotel bar, Sarah unknowingly sits beside Damon and the pair strike up a conversation. After a few drinks, a drunken Sarah invites Damon up to her room for another drink.
2. Sarah begs Damon to leave Nick alone
Sarah is frustrated to learn that Adam still intends to represent Damon. Having since discovered that Damon was also her mystery man at the bar, Sarah begs him to stay away from Nick and to drop Adam as his solicitor.
However, Sarah's pleas make little difference as Dee-Dee makes it clear to Damon that he's very unlikely to walk free. Taking things into his own hands, Damon corners Nick in the Bistro office.
3. Stephen encounters another hurdle
Peter is furious to learn that Stephen is in charge at the factory and accuses him of stabbing Carla in the back.
Meanwhile, with Carla out of the picture, Stephen prepares to sign the American deal. He receives a shock when Rufus arrives and threatens to out Stephen's plot to drug Carla unless Stephen rips up the contract.
Stephen picks up the hole punch and approaches Rufus. Is Stephen about to kill again?
4. Stephen covers his tracks
With the deal now off the table, Stephen makes out to Sarah that the Americans chose to pull out of the contract last-minute.
Meanwhile, Peter is forced to break the news to Carla that the factory workers have voted to put Stephen in charge following Carla's most recent erratic outburst.
5. Paul gives Gemma a helping hand
With wedding plans under way, Gemma confides in Paul that the wedding venue is demanding an upfront payment, or her date will be cancelled.
Keen to help, Paul places a call to the bank to make Gemma's wedding dreams come true.
Later, Paul visits Dr Gaddas and reveals there's been no improvement to his hand. Concerned, Dr Gaddas refers him to a neurologist.
6. Paul receives some shocking news
When Dee-Dee contacts Peter asking for a witness statement, Peter decides to confront Paul and orders him to stop using Carla's mental health struggles for his own financial gain. Paul tries to reason with Peter, but Peter accuses him of faking his injuries.
At his hospital appointment, Paul is stunned when the neurologist reveals that the problems he's experiencing are unlikely to have been caused by the accident.
Paul receives more bad news when Dee-Dee points out that if the neurologist is correct, he won't be entitled to compensation for the accident.
7. Evelyn is concerned about Cerberus
When Evelyn pops into the café with Cerberus, Roy apologises for missing her birthday party and confides in her about Carla's recent problems.
Evelyn grows concerned when Cerberus isn't hungry, and when his appetite doesn't return, Tyrone suggests taking him to the vet.
Evelyn is shocked when the vet suggests food poisoning may be to blame.
8. Evelyn lashes out at Roy
Roy admits to Evelyn that he dropped an Eccles cake in the café and fears that Cerberus may have eaten it. Furious, Evelyn tells Roy that she'll never speak to him again if anything happens to Cerberus.
Evelyn is devastated when the vet informs her that Cerberus is suffering from kidney failure and will have to be put to sleep.
Later, Roy is wracked with guilt and blames himself for being too distracted on his mobile phone to notice what Cerberus was doing in the café.
9. Daisy moves ahead with her wedding plans
Hoping to forget about her stalking ordeal, Daisy moves ahead with plans for her wedding and asks Jenny to give her away on the big day.
Meanwhile, Amy tries on her bridesmaid's dress but when Daisy mentions the hen night, Amy panics. Still traumatised by her recent experience with Aaron, Amy makes an excuse not to attend.
Later in the week, Christina reveals to Daisy that she's planned a surprise for her. When two friends from Daisy's past arrive, Daisy is less than impressed.
10. Ryan receives a job offer
Ryan is approached by Crystal, an Ibiza club promoter, who hands him her business card.
Later, Ryan confides in Nick that Crystal has offered him a gig in Ibiza, but he's given pause when Nick advises him to think carefully about what's more important to him – Alya or Ibiza.
11. Aaron puts pressure on Summer
Struggling to pay rent by himself, Aaron tells Summer that she should move back in and live with him again.
Summer is taken aback but his request but agrees to think about it.
