Next week on Hollyoaks, Tony fears for his political career after he spends a night in a police cell.
Elsewhere, Kitty supports the Hutchinson family following news from Rose, while Joel and Leela continue to face an uncertain future.

1. Mercedes becomes suspicious over Abe
Mercedes decides that Abe isn't trustworthy after overhearing him make a suspicious phone call. She seeks out Joel for some insider information about the new man in town, but Abe secretly watches their conversation from afar.
Later, Abe catches Mercedes going through his locker at the Youth Centre. He explains that he was merely on the phone to his mother when she overheard him the previous day.
2. Leela struggles to forgive Joel
Joel is annoyed when he discovers that Abe has stirred up trouble among the McQueens by sleeping with Theresa. The brothers share a tense moment in the village.
Leela decides to give Joel another chance following some encouraging advice from Theresa, but she changes her mind again when she spots Joel and Abe arguing over Cleo in the village.
Later in the week, Joel and Leela bond again as they do some DIY together, but will it be enough to reunite them?
3. Diane makes a big mistake
Rose is questioning their gender identity and asks to speak to Diane later.
A stressful day follows for Diane, especially when she finds herself playing referee between Cindy and Suzanne at The Dog. Things come to a head when Cindy throws a drink at Suzanne's face during their argument.
Diane heads out to pick up Tony, then rushes home with him because she knows that she still has to speak to Rose.
Diane runs a red light and is arrested by the police for driving while over the legal alcohol limit. Tony tries to defend his wife, but he ends up in handcuffs too.
4. Tony fears a scandal
Tensions rise between Tony and Diane after they both spend a night in a police cell.
Tony worries that his position as a local councillor could come under threat if the public find out about his arrest.
5. Kitty supports Tony and Diane
When Tony and Diane return home from the police station, they're shocked to find that Dee-Dee has given Rose a new haircut.
The couple end up turning to Kitty for some important advice on how they can best support Rose.
6. Cindy turns ruthless as she fights for a job
Cindy looks ahead to her wedding to Dave, but she realises that their funds are very low. She vows to address this by finding a new job.
Dave shows Cindy a job advertisement for Price Slice and suggests that it could be the perfect opportunity for her.
Much to Cindy's displeasure, she finds herself competing with Suzanne for the shop position. Cindy fights dirty by planting a bottle of wine in Suzanne's handbag, but her efforts backfire when she realises that her sneakiness was caught on CCTV.
Later in the week, Cindy opens up about how she wanted the job to pay for her wedding – and to stop herself from thinking about Ella's tragic death so much. Will she receive any sympathy?
7. Zain overhears Misbah's honesty
Misbah confides in Sharon about how she fears there isn't enough passion in her marriage to Zain. This creates awkwardness when Zain overhears the conversation.
Misbah is mortified when she realises that Zain heard her speaking so honestly about their problems. Zain is clearly heartbroken as he asks Misbah for some space.
Sharon encourages Misbah to make amends with Zain. When Zain offers to keep working on their relationship, will Misbah agree that it's worth fighting for?
8. James receives a huge blackmail demand
Kane forces James to see him in prison, rather than going ahead with a planned visit to Romeo. He forces James' hand by continuing to threaten Romeo's life.
When they come face-to-face, Kane warns James that he's expecting £250,000 in return for Romeo's safety – and he gives him just one day to come up with the huge sum of money.
9. James spots a chance to get the money
James warns Dilly that she and Rafe owed him hundreds of thousands in legal fees before Rafe died.
With Dilly struggling after recent traumatic events, she encourages James to merely log into the bank account himself and take the money that he's owed. Could this spark an unscrupulous move from James?
10. Prince bonds with Dilly
At the hospital, Prince admits to Dilly that his family doesn't know where to send their rent following Rafe's death, but Dilly assures him that there isn't any rush for payment.
When Prince discovers that Dilly is craving some fresh orange juice, he kindly heads out to get some for her.
11. Darren reaches out to Jack
Darren hopes to welcome Jack back into the family following the recent incident with Frankie.
When Darren invites Jack to attend JJ's football trials in a couple of days' time, will he agree?
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
