13 Famous People Who Have Been Open About Their Bisexuality For A Very Long Time

Maren Morris is the latest celebrity to come out as bisexual.

1.Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day came out as bisexual in 1995.

He told the Advocate, "I think I’ve always been bisexual. I mean, it’s something that I’ve always been interested in. I think people are born bisexual, and it’s just that our parents and society kind of veer us off into this feeling of ‘Oh, I can’t.’ They say it’s taboo."

"It’s ingrained in our heads that it’s bad, when it’s not bad at all. It’s a very beautiful thing."

2.Bai Ling talked about being bi in 2008.

She told GLAAD, "My name is pronounced 'bi,' so when I was asked, 'Are you bi?' I said, 'Yes, I am Bai.' Do you like men? 'Of course!' Do you like women? 'Why yes!' And later I found out what that means and I said, 'Sure, I am bi!'"

3.Björk has been talking about being bisexual since the early 2000s

She told Diva magazine in 2004: "I think everyone’s bisexual to some degree or another; it’s just a question of whether or not you choose to recognize it and embrace it. Personally, I think choosing between men and women is like choosing between cake and ice cream."

4.Megan Mullally came out as bisexual in 1999.

She told the Advocate, "I consider myself bisexual, and my philosophy is, everyone innately is."

5.Thandie Newton talked about her bisexuality in 2008.

She told the Advocate, "We’re all potentially bisexual; it all depends on your circle, your upbringing, and all kinds of things. Or maybe I’m just talking about myself. I could’ve easily fallen in love with a woman over a man."
