Fans of Peter needn't worry about him slipping back into old ways, though, as Corrie's producer Iain MacLeod recently ruled out an alcohol relapse story for the popular character.

Later in the week, Peter offers to attend his latest alcoholics' meeting on his own as he knows that Carla is busy at the factory. Carla shows where her priorities lie as she tells Peter that some things are more important than work.
